World Aids Day-December 01

Campaigners from around the world will be coming together on World AIDS Day, 1 December, to commemorate the theme of universal access and human rights. It has become one of the most recognised international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment and prevention services. This year the World AIDS Campaign is working to promote the Light for Rights campaign. Light for Rights events are taking place on every continent this World AIDS Day!  It has become one of the most recognised international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.

To commemorate this event, the public health campus ambassadors will be partnering with local health care agencies and community partners to help advocate the importance of getting tested for HIV/AIDS.
