American Red Cross

Do you trust us?

Today, I was reading through my Google Alerts for the American Red Cross and came across this interesting article written by Market Watch yesterday.  According to this nationwide survey, the American Red Cross is one of the top 3 most trusted organizations.

The Harris Poll®  surveyed 2,126 U.S. adults online between November 10 and 17, 2008, and the Red Cross ranked #1 out of 16 DC-based organizations with a 93% familiarity rating.

The most important were the results for trust. Red Cross ranked #2 with an 88% rating. Only second to the guiding light of consumer products, Consumer Reports (92%). This places us ahead of other familiar organizations, such as AARP, The Nature Conservatory, and the Sierra Club. Amazing, huh?
