The biggest disaster threat to families across our nation every day isn’t floods, hurricanes or tornadoes; it’s fire. Last year, the Capital Area Chapter responded to more than 212 local family fires. Nationally, volunteers across the nation have provided assistance to more than 63,000 house fires a year!
