TS Fay Continues to Flood the Big Bend

Gov. Crist visits Wakulla County Shelter

Governor Crist visited the Wakulla County Shelter on Saturday, visiting with Capital Area Chapter Red Cross volunteers.

Volunteers Needed

All trained American Red Cross volunteers are urged to contact the chapter to report their availability.
Disaster Assesment, Mass Care, and Logistics functions are especially needed at this time.

WAKULLA CO SHELTER RE-OPENING

The shelter located at the Mormon Church, 3251 Crawfordville Hwy, Crawfordville, FL will be opening today at 11 am.

Shelter Update 8.24.08

The Leon County Shelter located at Florida High and the Taylor County Shelter located at Taylor Elementary are now closed.
 
Jefferson County Shelter and Wakulla County Shelter will remain open for those affected by Tropical Storm Fay.
